At shipment with using cabbage machine har-vesting combine in the body of the accompanying vehicle cabbage heads are substantially damaged. In this regard a new way of machine harvesting of headed cabbage was developed. In it, unlike tradi-tional, heads of cabbage at first are shipped in the sparing mode on flexible trough-shaped form, the flooring is established over removable containers in the body of accompanying vehicle. Then heads of cabbage from flooring are carefully shifted in con-tainers for subsequent bookmark in them to stor-age. The shipment of heads of cabbage on flexible flooring is made by means of the special device containing rigid pallet, an elastic tray and a flexible apron. At shipment, for providing the maximum de-gree of safety of production, it is necessary to pre-vent falling of heads of cabbage at each other. Therefore, heads of cabbage after falling on flexible flooring have to be rolled away on a safe place, from where it would be convenient for a worker to get them. The purpose of researches was the iden-tification of the conditions excluding falling of heads of cabbage at each other at shipment on flexible flooring, and also creating conveniences in the maximum degree to workers at their rearrangement in subsequent in containers. The nature of behavior of heads of cabbage after falling on flexible flooring depends on the type of curve of its sagging. The sagging curve equation found from a condition of balance of flooring represents analytical expression of parabola. The zone of shipment of heads of cab-bage on flooring from a condition of rolling heads of cabbage from the place of shipment to accumula-tion zone is defined, from where it is convenient for a worker to get them in turn in containers. The technique of justification of zones of shipment and accumulation of heads of cabbage on flexible floor-ing can be used at realization of offered new way of machine harvesting of cabbage in sparing mode.
